We made it through Brad’s week and a half away in Georgia—barely. It was tough listening to so much whining and crying by myself. Brenna is so much better now though. I’m not sure if she was just going through something or if she was upset her daddy was away. Brad’s trip went so well that we have decided to move to Brunswick, Georgia. It’s a great opportunity for Brad to get out of painting by building with Bill. I’m excited about building our own house, and I’ve already found a house plan. I will, however, miss the our friends, the lake, the pool, and all the parks in Raleigh. At least we’ll be near the beach. I’m also looking forward to being near Brenda. It will be nice to be able to be close enough to where I can call her up if I need her. Also, Emily will be old enough soon to babysit!
Tomorrow we are going to put Brenna’s big girl bed up, and see if we can make her actually stay in it! I figure it’s a good time to try it because she still can’t open the bedroom door if she does get out of the bed, she at least has to stay in the room. I can’t believe my baby is growing up so fast. Brad and I have really been amazed at how good she has been the last couple of days.
It’s getting late, and I need to get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow. Uncle Todd is going to take Brenna up in his plane to see how she’ll do before we fly to Florida next month.
