Brenna got her EEG yesterday. It was awful. We started at the neurologists office at 9:45 am. We had to leave there and go immediately to the hospital to get an EEG done at 11:30. It took at least 1/2 hour of waiting, then another 45 minutes for them to get the electrodes on her head. Brad had to hold her the whole time–then another 1/2 hour while they did the recording. We won’t know what the results were until tomorrow. The poor baby did so well considering. Bradie was a trooper too. We took the girls to see Maria and Anthony’s daughter play in a powder puff football game tonight. Brenna is the toughest kid I have ever seen! Earlier today, she fell off of something in the office and got a pretty bad scrape on her head. She cried a little, but not bad. At the game, she tripped and gave herself a bloody nose and barely even stopped–no tears at all! Daddy was impressed. She had a blast but we had to leave after only an hour and a half because she wouldn’t stop trying to go on the field. Bradie wanted to go to bed too.
Bradie is holding her head up really well now. We even tried her in the jumpy seat tonight. She seemed to like it though she can’t really jump yet. We will have to work on keeping Brenna from messing with it. Bradie is very smily now too. She loves for me to sing and to pretend to jump her up and down in my lap. She took a little bit of a bottle from Maria at the game but is still not doing real well with it.
We decided to drive to Florida instead of working out the trip in Todd’s plane. We will probably leave Saturday, let Brenna trick or treat in GA, go to Florida, let her trick or treat there, stay there for a couple days and leave Brenna with Brenda and go look at lots for a couple days in GA. I hope the girls do well in the car for that long!!!
