Ok I’m about a year late, (3 years according to some books), but Brenna finally went to the dentist last month. She must have inherited her father’s teeth because she has no cavities despite my neglect of her teeth. She had to have her Ariel doll with her, and with a promise of the $5 Cinderella toothbrush, she was a very good girl.
She also got her first report card. This whole school thing still kills me since she’s only 4. She got a very good report card. Apparently she’s not nearly as bad as I thought! The teacher says they do have to “keep her hands busy” sometimes. And I have to be the obnoxious bragging parent and repeat that Miss Valerie said she is “the smartest kid in the class even though she’s the youngest!”
We also got some good news that Brenna will be able to attend a brand new state-of-the-art school! (probably not as good as Raleigh, but we’ll see) It is across the street from where Brenda and Wayne’s investor friends are developing a new neighborhood where Brad and Bill will be building. We’ll also be building our next house there. The stories I’ve heard of waiting in line for carpools make me very happy that I’ll be able to walk up and pick her up from school.
